Edurne Pasaban Lizarribar (Tolosa, Guipúzcoa, Spain August 1, 1973) is a Spanish mountaineer, industrial engineer, and entrepreneur. Edurne was the first woman in the world to summit all 14 eight-thousanders and the 21st person, man or woman, to do so. She completed this feat in nine years, from her first eight-thousander, Everest, on May 23, 2001 to her last, Shisha Pangma, on May 17, 2010.

Edurne Pasaban only needed nine years and 20 expeditions to become the first woman to climb all 14 eight-thousanders, demonstrating the incredibly high success rate of her expeditions. As a result of that dedication and effort, Edurne has received awards including the Medalla de Oro al Mérito Deportivo (2010), National Geographic Adventurer of the Year (2010), and the Premio Nacional del Deporte Reina Sofía (2011).
